Sharing their social experience

You know the small signs that show when your pet is curious, comfortable or ready for a break. Sharing those moments helps us understand the company they enjoy.

Start with a recent meeting

Tell us where your pet met another dog or person and how they responded. They might have joined in, stayed close to you or taken time to watch. Describe what happened in your own words, including what helped them relax.

A walk with a familiar companion can feel quite different from meeting someone new, so both experiences are useful for us to hear about.

Help us recognise their little signs

How does your pet show that they would like more space or a quiet pause? What do you notice when they are enjoying themselves? Share the signs you recognise and the ways you usually respond. Tell us about handling preferences and anything that worries them. We’ll talk through your observations with you as we get to know the kind of day that might suit them.

Keep us up to date

Let us know when your pet’s routine or experiences change. A recent move, different company or a new daily rhythm may be worth mentioning before their next visit. You can also tell us what has gone well since we last spoke and what you would like to discuss.

Your notes do not need to be polished; clear, familiar examples are a lovely place to start.

Your next conversation

We’d love to hear about your pet. Tell us about their routine and your preferred days, or call us with any questions about their first visit.
